The day-to-day running of the building is carried out by the Management Committee on behalf of Woolavington Parish Council who are the Trustees of the Village Hall.
The Management Committee are all unpaid volunteers who have an ongoing project of updating and improving the facility.
Major improvements in 2016 have been the complete redecoration of all areas within the building.
Various groups use the rooms within the building on a regular basis. The current groups activities are:
Aerobics (over 50s) - Adult Art - Bridge (U3A) - Cardiac Rehab/Over 50s Fitness - Zumba - Church Guild - Craft Club - Fitness Training + Bootcamp - Quilling - Scottish Dancers - W.I. - Friendship Club - Little Nippers - U3A Gardening - Flare (youth group) - Creative Sewing - Ceroc le beat.

Other users include dog shows, cat shows, Somerset Contract Bridge, private parties (children/adult/family) and wedding receptions.

There is off-road parking behind the hall for 35 vehicles
The Village Hall can meet most needs. There are 3 public rooms and a well appointed kitchen.
All rooms are centrally heated with thermostatic controls on all radiators. Access and toilet facilities are
provided for people with disabilities. The toilet facilities are accessed in the foyer of the main entrance. A sound system is available in the main hall with speakers in the other 2 rooms should a whole hall event be required. There is also a hearing loop system in the main hall. There is also a Lending Library with well stocked shelves.
Main Hall
This room, which has a wooden floor, is licensed to seat over 200 (close seating) or 140 seated at tables and has a stage and bar area. The kitchen can be accessed via the main hall.
Lounge
This room, which has a carpeted floor, can comfortably accommodate 25-30ish people. Wall lights provide a more intimate setting. The lounge now has its own kitchenette (installed late May 2017). The main kitchen and bar area can be accessed via the lounge.
(Hirers should be aware that the main kitchen and bar area are shared by users of the Main Hall and Lounge).
Function (Harry Belcher) Room
This room, which has a wooden floor, has got its own separate entrance. It can also be accessed from the main hall should both rooms be hired. It has its own small kitchenette for making light refreshments and washing up. Also off this room are self contained toilets. 25-30 people can be accommodated in this room.
Library
The lending library, which is manned by volunteers, is currently open each Tuesday between 10 - 12am.
There over 1000 books from fiction, non-fiction, autobiographies, cookery and a children's section.
